Bath Judo Kwai’s Coach Jan Hitchcock had recent competition success at the High Wycombe Masters Tournament. This prestigious event was entered by many ex-British Squad members, making the standard of Judo very high. Jan came away with the Third place Bronze Trophy from a pool of 12 players and more points counting towards his third Dan Black Belt. Jan’s judo training was supplemented by Space Health and Fitness on the Bear Flat who helped Jan on maintaining his diet and strength training during his preparation for this event.

Bath junior player Harry Godwin also scored recent success. At the BJC junior Nationals, Harry won a bronze, and recently at the BJC Avon Area Championships Harry came away with the Gold. He has also been invited into the BJA West of England Squad.
