As well as all the sucessful Medal winners at this years championships Bath Judo Kwai also came away with three of the County Trophies.
Sam "Munch" Tiley, aged 8, came away with Male Player of the Day, selected from both Junior and Senior competitors. Sam won all his contests with stylish judo to win this award, selected by the referees and officials at the event.
Rebecca Pierce, fighting in the light weight kyu grade seniors, beat her rivals, not only in this weight category, but also the heavy wieghts, to win the Female Player of the Day award. Becky's only disappointment of the day was she was not given a chance to have a go at the Dan Grades as well.
